Our Programs

Our two programs address the same shortage from two directions. In the communities we serve, investment has long been thin, and the consequences show up in a woman who has not had a mammogram in six years and in a fifteen-year-old with nowhere to socialize that was built with him in mind. We work on both.

First Light

Cancer Support Services

We aim to help people in underserved communities get screened for breast cancer by removing the barriers that stand between them and an appointment. Screening access is where the program begins. Navigation, transportation, companionship, and family support are what it is designed to become.

Initial operations set to begin in Jacksonville, Florida in October 2026.

Meridian Youth Program

Youth Development

We aim to create supervised, genuinely youth-owned social spaces where young people between 13 and 19 are seen, supported, and given room to become who they are. Meridian begins with community engagement and organized events and is designed to grow into permanent space.

Initial operations set to begin in the Chicagoland area during the 2026–2027 school year.

Both programs are designed to expand to additional communities as need and capacity allow.
