Volunteer
A new organization becomes a real one because people decide to show up for it. Volunteers are how our programs reach further than our budget does, and they are how the communities we serve come to trust that we intend to stay.
- With First Light
- Outreach and community education, event support, and, as the program grows, transportation and trained companionship for people going through treatment. Roles that involve direct contact with patients require a background check and training before you begin. The Foundation adheres to all applicable privacy laws and regulations, including HIPAA, and safeguards the personal information of everyone who uses our services.
- With Meridian
- Event facilitation, mentorship, and creative or cultural programming. Every role that involves young people requires a mandatory background check and youth-protection training.
- Skills We Always Need
- Photography, graphic design, translation, event logistics, grant writing, and community organizing. If you have something to offer that is not on this list, tell us about it. This Foundation is only as successful as the people who are on the ground, doing the work.
What Happens Next
Tell us how you would like to help and we will follow up within three business days to talk through where you would fit. Some roles require a background check and training before you can begin, and we will walk you through what that involves.
