Privacy Policy

Effective August 1, 2026

The Pamela S. Bell Foundation, Inc. respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect through this website, why we collect it, who sees it, how long we keep it, and how you can ask us to delete it.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through a form on this site.

Contact and inquiry forms: your name, email address, and any information you include in your message. A phone number and city if you provide them.

Volunteer interest form: your name, contact information, city, availability, roles or skills you are interested in, and your acknowledgment that certain roles require a background check.

Partnership and sponsorship inquiries: your name, your organization, and your contact information.

Event registration: your name and contact information, and any accessibility or accommodation needs you tell us about.

Email list signup: your first name, email address, and ZIP code. These are delivered to a Foundation email address and held there until we begin sending updates.

We do not ask for and we do not want medical information, diagnosis information, insurance details, Social Security numbers, or dates of birth. Please do not include them in a message to us.

What we do not collect

This website does not store submissions in a database. Form submissions are delivered to Foundation email addresses and are not retained on the site itself.

We do not use analytics tools, advertising trackers, or third-party marketing cookies on this site, and we do not sell or rent any information about you to anyone, ever.

Donations

Donations made through this site are processed by Givebutter, an independent payment platform. Payment card information is entered directly on Givebutter's systems and never passes through or is stored by the Foundation. Givebutter handles that information under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

We receive from Givebutter the information you provide with your gift, including your name, contact information, gift amount, and any program designation or tribute message. See our Donor Privacy Policy for how we handle it.

Why we collect it

To respond to you. To follow up about volunteering, partnership, or an event. To send updates if you asked for them. To acknowledge and record gifts as required by law. And to understand what the communities we serve are asking us for, so that we build the right things next.

Who sees it

Inside the Foundation, only the directors and volunteers who need the information to respond to you. We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your information with anyone for their own use.

We use a small number of service providers to operate: our website host, our email provider, and Givebutter for donations. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect someone's safety.

How long we keep it

General inquiries: two years after our last contact with you.

Volunteer records: for as long as you are an active volunteer and three years afterward.

Donor records: at least seven years, as required for tax and charitable reporting.

Email list: until you ask to be removed.

Your choices

You can ask to be removed from our email list at any time by writing to info@pamelasbellfoundation.org. Once we begin sending regular updates, every message will also carry an unsubscribe link.

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@pamelasbellfoundation.org and we will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some donation records to meet our legal obligations, and we will tell you if that applies.

Children

This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through this site. Registration for Meridian Youth Program events involving a minor is completed by a parent or guardian. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information through this site, write to info@pamelasbellfoundation.org and we will delete it.

Security

This site uses encrypted connections, and access to Foundation accounts is protected by multifactor authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send us sensitive personal or medical information through a web form or by email.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the updated version here with a new effective date.
