Accessibility Statement

The Pamela S. Bell Foundation is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification, or other assistive technology. A website that cannot be used by the people we serve is not doing its job.
Our standard
We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2, at Level AA. In building this site we have aimed for clear heading structure, keyboard navigation throughout, visible focus indicators, labeled form fields, descriptive alternative text on meaningful images, and sufficient color contrast for body text.
Where we fall short today
We would rather tell you than have you find out.
Our IRS determination letter is published as a scanned PDF and is not fully readable by assistive technology. If you would like the information it contains, write to us and we will provide it in a format that works for you.
Our donation form is provided by Givebutter, an outside platform. We do not control its code and cannot correct accessibility issues within it. If you have difficulty giving online, write to us and we will take your gift another way.
This site has not yet been reviewed by an independent accessibility auditor. Our testing to date has been internal.
Some documents we publish over time may not yet meet the standard above. We will provide any of them in an accessible format on request.
Tell us about a barrier
If you run into something on this site you cannot use, we want to hear about it. Write to info@pamelasbellfoundation.org and tell us the page and what happened. We will respond within 30 days and will work with you to get you the information or the service you were trying to reach.
If you need any information on this site in another format, including large print, plain text, or read aloud over the phone, ask us and we will provide it.
Ongoing work
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review this site as we add to it, and we will update this statement as we make improvements and as new limitations arise.
